    Ah yea, the Google-braned wikipedia knockoff; suppsed to have made some solid traction in education markets already too. Wonder if its a behavioral, data mining exercise on their part.

    Seems irritating at first glance, but does seem to have some potential. @arjw: Who knows what their plan is. Sometimes Google just seem to be spread out too far.

    Everyone just start writing 'Knols'.

    @BigEclipse: You're expected to be knowledgeable in your field, and any changes anyone else makes have to be approved by the original author. That seems kind of limiting to me, and doesn't really place Knol in the same area as Wikipedia. Close, but not exactly the same category imo

    That seems to be, but I guess Google thinks the rating of articles will balance that out. The original author's name is attached to it, after all, and it wouldn't do for a supposed expert to provide crappy information, would it?
